Dear Athlete’s

Tri-Curacao was founded to bring iconic Race-Cation Adventures to the people of Curacao and visitors from around the world. We launched this plan with a splash, producing an epic adventure race in collaboration with the New York Triathlon association and the SOS Series team.

SOS Curacao was a special event conducted in March of 2020, and everyone that participated was able to experience something special and realize what Curacao has to offer the world of Triathlon. The 22 miles of biking, swimming, and running through the history of the island and the crystal blue waters put Curacao on the map! 

 

Unfortunately, though, as all the amazing athletes crossed the finish line little did we know that immediately after, the world would come to a stop! Covid19 was upon us forcing much of the world to re-align. 

 

Coming out of the Covid Cloud has created the need for adjustments and re-focusing of priorities for many organizations. Given the current circumstances, it has been decided that the race - SOS Curacao will not take place under the SOS series banner moving forward. 

 

As we move into the future, we want to express our deep gratitude to the New York Triathlon Association and the SOS family and wish them nothing but continued success as they build on the success of their iconic race, Survival of the Shawangunks in New Paltz, NY.

Foundation TriCuracao however will continue to focus our efforts on internal events continuing to build on their current book of amazing destination race-cation events hosting racers on our beautiful island.
